in these hours Samsung launched two new foldable premiums; They are called W23 5G and W23 Flip; They are excellent devices with 16 GB of RAM, 512 GB of internal storage and more. They arrived in China yesterday but we risk seeing them here: that’s why.
Samsung W23 and W23 5G: Full Features
Practically speaking, for starters, these are premium deals dedicated to the current Galaxy Z Fold4 and Z Flip4 phones that we unveiled a few months ago (on August 10 to be exact). The W23 5G model is the spiritual successor to the 2021 W22 5G, while the Flip… well, the name says that too.
First, it differs from the Galaxy Fold / Flip in terms of design. Here we have gold plated edges and hinges. These finishes appear to be derived from technologies coming from high-end watches and have been polished at an almost nano level. Then it turns out that the structure is thinner and more flexible. Exotic is the dazzling metallic shape and logo in the center with the words “Heart to the World”.
In addition to these aesthetic differences, the Galaxy Z Fodl and Flip are compelling; The characteristics are identical. On the W23 we also find a 10 MP UDC selfiecam, the main cameras with a 50 MP sensor, a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor in the tow and more. There is also a 6.7-inch external AMOLED display and an approximately 8-inch internal display. RAM 12 or 16 GB and storage capacity up to 512 GB. Prices, on the other hand, are high and start at $1,379 for the Flip up to over $2,200 for the Foldable Premium. We don’t know if these versions will come to us as well.
If you want European folding, we suggest you Galaxy Z Fold4 5G on Amazon at €1674.64.
